Best Ways to Enjoy Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake
While this might be a simple recipe, that doesn’t mean it’s boring. In fact, the options are endless when it comes to Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake. You might be wondering: Where the options here? Well, in the toppings, of course!
Toppings are the dipping sauces of desserts. Undoubtedly, they make everything better. If you ask me, I’d recommend topping this with peanut butter and a creamy scoop of vanilla ice cream. Oh, and while you’re there, why not add a dollop of whipped cream? I mean, that’s self care. But, you can choose whatever toppings you want! And the beauty of adding toppings is that it gives the cake some attitude, but doesn’t make any more work for you. Here are some other toppings that I think would pair well with this cake:
- Salted Caramel
- Hot Fudge
- Berries or Bananas
- Frosting – Treat Top would be soooo good with this cake!

This was terrible. I’m trying to be honest because I try a lot of recipes and this mug cake is gross. You have excluded all liquid and that makes just a weird paste. Had you put the flax with the dry and then added the water maybe it would have worked but it doesn’t. I added water, maple syrup. peanut butter and jam and it was a gross cement that I tried to consume and regret that I did. I’m sure you’ll delete this post…possibly why you have no comments…but re think this recipe and then try to post again.
