High Protein Cottage Cheese Queso Dip

Want to give your queso a protein kick? Try my High Protein Queso with Cottage Cheese – I promise you won’t even know the difference. 

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16oz full fat cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 12 tablespoon diced green chiles + more for topping
  • diced green onion and/or peppadew peppers for topping

Instructions

  1. Add the cottage cheese to a blender or food processor and blend on high until smooth
  2. Transfer cottage cheese to a large pot* along with taco seasoning, cheese & green chiles
  3. Turn heat to medium and heat for 6-10 minutes, stirring frequently until fully melted and combined
  4. Add toppings of choice and serve hot with your favorite chips or vegetables

Notes

*Instead of heating stovetop, you could place everything in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 2-4 minutes, stirring frequently until fully melted and combined
