So, I took one of my all-time favorite chip accompaniments — French Onion Dip — and turned it into a high protein snack that can fit in every lifestyle. best part? It couldn’t be any easier because this recipe takes just 2 ingredients! What you need? Greek yogurt and a packet of French Onion soup. However, if you want to get a little fancy, then you can top it with crispy onions for a delicious crunch.

Ingredients
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (I like using full fat)
- 4 tablespoons French onion dip mix
- 2 tablespoons diced green onion (optional for topping)
- 2 tablespoons crispy onions (optional for topping)

What yogurt should I use?
Now, I’d recommend using a full fat plain Greek yogurt for the best thick & creamy consistency with a high protein count. My favorite brand is Fage. If you are dairy-free, then you can use your favorite dairy-free yogurt. However that likely will not lend to this dip being high in protein.
What French onion dip mix should I use?
So, most grocery stores will carry a brand of French onion dip mix. However, if you want to opt for a healthier/organic option, then I’d recommend using Simply Organic or McCormick “Just 5.” Both of these are great options with a ton of flavor.
What can I enjoy this dip with?
Truly, anything! Potato chips, crackers, or vegetables are all delicious this high protein French onion dip!
