You know those Dunkaroos we all had as kids? Well, I’m bringing them back, but with a twist! My Healthier Homemade Dunkaroos Dip is made with minimal ingredients, is low in added sugar, and whips together in 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain whipped cream cheese
  • 5 oz vanilla flavored Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract *
  • sprinkle of monk fruit sweetener (optional)
  • 23 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
  • mini gluten-free + vegan birthday cake cookies **

Instructions

  1. To a medium-sized bowl add cream cheese, yogurt and extracts. Use a whisk or hand mixer to beat until a creamy, smooth consistency
  2. Fold in the sprinkles
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with cookies
  4. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week

Notes

* If you can’t use almond extract use 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract (however the almond extract is what lends to a more “cake like” flavor). You could also omit both and use 1/2 teaspoon cake batter extract

** You can also use animal crackers, vanilla wafers, or any cookie favorite! See below for a fully homemade option
