We’re back with another *easy* weeknight dinner, because simplicity is key when it comes to making dinner after a long day. As always, just because this recipe is simple doesn’t mean it lacks in flavor. Plus, it’s super satisfying, especially with the addition of an animal and plant-based protein. We love protein here at Hungry Blonde (; This recipe for Creamy Tomato Pasta is especially fun because you can make it your own by adding ingredients, or serving it alongside a quick salad (maybe even some breadsticks 🤔). Now, let’s find out how to make this recipe – and, yes, it takes JUST 15 minutes!
Hungry Blondes *love* pasta. It always hits the spot, and it’s an especially great weeknight dish because it’s simple! Now, I believe in the power of sauce… it’s what makes the meal. This Creamy Tomato sauce is so luscious. It’s got a great zing from the tomato and saltiness from the ricotta. Plus, there’s not one but two (!!) cheeses in here, giving it an even greater depth of flavor. Chef’s kiss!

To make 5 Ingredient Creamy Tomato Pasta Gluten-Free:
Of course, this recipe can easily be made gluten-free! If you want to do so, then simply use your favorite gluten-free pasta! I like Banza pasta. In addition, if you’re looking to make this low-carb, then you could use spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles.
If you want to add some protein to this dish…
As I mentioned, we love protein here at Hungry Blonde. I have found that adding in some extra protein to my meals really increases satisfaction and keeps me fuller, longer. If you are looking for some protein to add, then I recommend:
- Meatballs (a classic!)
- Italian Sausage: I think sweet or spicy sausage would go great with this dish!
- Plant-Based Protein: For all of my vegetarians out there!
