How to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Bread gluten-free:
If you want to make this loaf gluten-free, then you will need to swap out the flour.
Be sure to use a 1:1 gluten-free flour in this recipe. My favorite in the other cookie breads has been this one from Pillsbury, which I found at my local grocery store and I loved how it worked in this recipe. In addition, my other favorite is by Bob’s Red Mill.
However, please note that you can’t use just any gluten-free flour because some of them require different measurements, etc. so be sure to opt for one that clearly says it’s a 1:1 swap for regular flour.
Moreover, if you are not gluten-free, simply use regular all-purpose flour, same measurements.
Some of the best ways to enjoy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bread!
Now, this recipe is delicious on its own, so you don’t have to gussy it up at all! However, if you want to go a little wild, then I suggest serving it warm with ice cream and a hefty dollop of whipped cream. You can serve this warm out of the oven, or easily heat it up by popping it in the oven or microwave for a few minutes. The loaf will stay good for a few days!
If you’re like me, though, then sometimes you want dessert for breakfast. I mean, who doesn’t?! The good news is that this cookie bread pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee. Go ahead, dunk it in there.
Chocolate Lovers?
As this recipe is now, the glaze is a regular sugar glaze. However, if you love chocolate (✋🏻) then you could use the chocolate glaze like on this recipe to really up that chocolate-y flavor!
