Ingredients and Substitutions for Peanut Butter Pretzel Popcorn Mix
What popcorn should I use? You can make your own popcorn or use your favorite pre-made! In this case, I used Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn.
What candies should I use? I used these candy-coated chocolate gems from Unreal because I like that they are colored by veggies / nothing artificial. You could also use good old M&M candies. Also delicious would be the Unreal dark chocolate peanut gems, or peanut M&Ms. In addition, you can make this recipe festive by using color-appropriate candies — red & green for Christmas, green & purple & orange for Halloween… the options are endless.
Can I use different granola bars? Yes! You can use any granola bars you like. I personally love the MunkPack Nut & Seed Bars because they have a great chewy + crunchy texture with sweet & salty flavors. In this case, I used the dark chocolate peanut butter flavor.
Can I use different nut butter? Yes, any nut butter would work. If you want to make this nut-free, then you can also use sunflower seed butter.
