Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 2 pieces Applegate Naturals breakfast sausage (I love their chicken & sage), cooked & cut into small pieces
- 1 cup of spinach
- 2 tbsp diced onion onion
- cheddar cheese
- salt, black pepper & garlic powder (to taste)
- red pepper flakes (to taste)
Directions:
- Pre-heat waffle maker
- In a bowl scramble the eggs, then whisk in the sausage, spinach, onions. Season with salt, black pepper & garlic powder
- Grease waffle maker with nonstick spray and add egg mixture
- Cook for 4-5 minutes, or just until begins to turn golden brown on top
- Top with cheese and let sit for the cheese to melt. Top with red pepper flakes
