6.5.19 UPDATE: while I still love these products, I keep my new Amazon store the most up-to-date with my current favorite products.
**********
We interrupt the usual recipe posts for some serious BEAUTY action. I get asked on the reg what my favorite beauty products are, so I figured it was about time to get them all into one place.
As you’ll see, there’s an arguably obscene amount of them 😉 Obviously I don’t use all of these every day, but they’re in my rotation at any given time. Some other things to note…
- I linked them back to either the brand website, Sephora or Amazon, but most are available other places to purchase online/in store.
- While I do love natural products and use them as much as I can, not all of these are completely natural or chemical-free, so read the labels if that’s something that’s important to you.
I’ll be sure to update this post regularly as I find new favorites. Feel free to leave a comment or shoot me a DM on Instagram if you have any questions about these.
HAIR
Repair/Protect
Olaplex – currently using twice a week for 30+ minutes
Coconut Oil – leave on ends for 2+ hours for repair/hydration. I try to do at least twice a month
Living Proof Restore Instant Repair Lotion – leave-in conditioner, I use 2 pumps in my hair before blowdrying
Living Proof Heat Protectant – it took me forever to find a heat protectant that wasn’t heavy/sticky. This is a nice light spray
Shampoo/Conditioner
Joico Color Balance Purple Shampoo & Conditioner – helps avoid yellow/brassy blonde, I use every other wash
Joico Blonde Life – I find this to be a good balance to the purple shampoo/conditioner, it adds a great brightening & shine
Pureology Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner – a great brand for standard use that’s available at most drugstores
Finish
Living Proof No Frizz Humidity Shield – a MUST in the humid summer months. Acts as a light hair spray as well
IGK Mistress Hydrating Hair Balm – I searched forever to find the perfect smoothing cream that can be applied to DRY hair, and this is it! It smooths out flyaways and adds a nice shine. Can be used on damp hair too
Big Sexy Hair Powder Play – just a tiny bit of this adds so much volume. I apply just a little bit to the crown of my head
Tools
GHD Gold Styler flatiron – costs a pretty penny, but worth it for the quality to reduce hair damage
Beachwaver – 100% better than any curling iron or wand I’ve used. LOVE
SKIN
Day
Sunday Riley C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum – within minutes make skin look bright and glowy
Elemis Superfood Day Cream – hydrates while also replenishing with vitamins & anti-oxidants. Yes please
La Mer Moisturizing Cool Gel Cream – I mean…it’s La Mer. No explanation necessary
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Hydra-Gel Eye Patches – I love storing these in the fridge for extra cooling and wearing them first thing in the morning…especially after a night of drinking. They’re the best at removing under-eye puffiness
Night
Wedderspoon Manuka Honey & Bee Venom Night Cream – I’m convinced this night cream has transformed my skin. Bee venom plumps + tightens + increases collagen production
Elemis Superfood Night Cream – similar to the day cream version, a one-two punch of hydration + replenishment
Clarins Extra-Firming Neck Cream – I’ve tried a few neck creams and this is my favorite, the only one I’ve noticed tightening results
Clarins Double Serum – my favorite night serum, I’ve used for 5+ years
Sunday Riley Good Genes – bottom line: worth the hype. Basically the golden child of anti-aging products
Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting AHA Gel – I just recently learned about the amazing anti-aging benefits of AHA – it’s an exfoliant that removes layers of dead skin and smooths the appearance of wrinkles
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner – soft & hydrating while also removing excess makeup and prepping skin for serum/moisturizer
La Mer Creme de la Mer – the moisturizer of all moisturizers, can’t go wrong
Tea Tree Oil – dab on blemishes at night
Rose Hip Oil – great natural option for moisturizing & anti-aging
Natura Bisse Diamond Extreme – full disclosure, this is *not* an affordable product. BUT, if your skincare is something that is a high priority to you/worth investing in, this is one of those holy grail products. It fights wrinkles, provides elasticity, firmness & hydrates
Masks
Cocokind Organic Chlorophyll Mask – love the tightening effect
Wedderspoon Manuka Honey – moisturizing and anti-inflammatory, I do straight honey masks at least twice a week
Tula Probiotic Exfoliating Treatment Mask – exfoliates without being super harsh
C.O. Bigelow Purifying Cleansing Mask No. 305 – I don’t use cleansing masks often but this is my favorite when I do, it’s tightening and cooling + not too harsh
Natura Bisse Diamond White Glowing Mask – I love wearing this mask first thing in the morning, nothing refreshes & brightens my skin quite like it. Plus it smells SO good
MAKEUP
Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet – I’m not a big fan of foundation (I always find it to be too cakey). This is super light and soft but provides great coverage and a nice glow
Laura Mercier Foundation Powder – I use a bit on top of the Chanel foundation at night, or on its own for great daytime light coverage
Buxom Big Tease Mascara – gives you that “are her lashes real?” length + volume
Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer – covers alllll the things without being too chalky
Clarins Lip Oil (Honey) – on my lips pretty much at all times, hydrating and soft with nice glossy look
Kylie Candy K – my favorite neutral lip color, I wear almost every day, sometimes with a gloss/balm on top because it can get dry
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer – as if I needed another reason to be obsessed with Rihanna. This lip gloss has surpassed Unique Pink as my favorite lately. It’s the perfect neutral shade and so perfectly glossy/glowy
Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss Rose Naif (804) – this is the perfect light gloss for day or night. It gives your lips just enough shine with a pretty light pink shade
Becca Pressed Highlighter – I prefer a powder highlighter over liquid, and no one does it like Becca. My favorite shades are Champagne Pop and Rose Quartz.
BODY
Dry Brush – before every shower, helps exfoliate + remove dead skin & toxins, increases circulation
Brazilian Beach Bum – for that nice smooth booty + smells AMAZING
Kopari Coconut Body Glow – a nice bronze shimmer, also smells great
Jergens Natural Glow Lotion & Foam – been using since a teenager, still my favorite for a gradual sunless tan
St Tropez Bronzing Mousse – for a darker + more instant sunless tan, the most brown (not orange) sunless tanner I’ve tried
