In the past (almost) 6 years of living in New York, I’ve dined at my fair share of incredible restaurants. I must say, though, that I do tend to get stuck in a rut when it comes to stepping outside my usual go-to cuisines. I know what I like…what can I say?
But then a dining experience comes along that makes me think, what was I waiting for?! And last weekend’s brunch at Streets in Wiliamsburg was exactly that.
Sydney and I traded in our usual (arguably boring) avocado toast and eggs Benedict-filled brunch for a meal full of dishes unlike any I’ve had before, in the best possible way. Streets is like a melting pot of cuisines – featuring international dishes inspired by street food from across the globe.
Each dish we enjoyed was better than the last. Here’s what we had.
We really loved every single dish, but the chicharrones were the absolute favorite. We’re talking insanely good – this Manhattan girl would go back to Brooklyn for them alone 😉
The bottom line: if you’re looking for a new dining experience that will wake up your taste buds, I couldn’t recommend visiting Streets more!
