What popcorn should I use in these Marshmallow Popcorn Treats?
For these Valentineās Day Marshmallow Popcorn Treats I kept them extra festive by using Lesser Evilās organic limited edition Sweetheart Pop. It has a subtle sweetness to it and the cutest pops of pink popcorn mixed in.
Also, any of your favorite bagged or homemade popcorn would work! In this case, Iād recommend a plain, lightly salted, or kettle corn would work best.
What sprinkles should I use?
So, you can use different colors of sprinkles to make these treats for any occasion ā funfetti sprinkles for birthdays, Christmas colors, etc. For a ācleanerā sprinkle option I love these Natureās Colors Sprinkles made with natural coloring.
Other variation ideas:
- You can mix chocolate chips or m&m candies into the treats
- Use milk or dark chocolate drizzle instead of white chocolate
- Mix in crushed Reeseās Pieces or Reeseās peanut butter cups for a PB version
- Instead of drizzling chocolate on top, you could dip half of each bar in chocolate
