If you follow me on Instagram you saw that earlier this week I had the pleasure of staying at the newly renovated (all-inclusive, adult-only) Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. I’ve been making it a point to share more travel content with you here on Hungry Blonde – especially how I practice #RealLifeWellness on vacation – so I’m very grateful to Le Blanc for offering a complimentary stay! 100% of the thoughts and opinions in this post are my own.
I originally heard about Le Blanc through my friend Alexis (AKA @nycdatenite). She stayed at their location in Los Cabos last year and had nothing but amazing things to say about it. So when she suggested we do a mini spring-break trip to the Cancun location…well, of course I’m not going to pass up the opportunity to experience this 😉
The photos speak a thousand words, but here is more of my review of Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun.
Review of Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun
First Impression
Upon arriving at Le Blanc, I could tell it was going to be a more more luxurious stay than other all-inclusive experience I’ve had. I loved the bright, modern design/decor of the resort. It appears to be very new and the entire resort is extremely clean (even the bathrooms smell amazing, ha).
The Room
Our room was also extremely clean, bright, and everything seemed like brand new. There was a big jacuzzi-style tub, a large sink area, and the beds were sooo comfortable. The mini bar & water was restocked at least once a day.
Amenities
I took full advantage of the amenities every single day. There is a large fitness center full of up-to-date equipment and a full-service spa with options for massage, mani/pedis, etc. The spa also has complimentary Hydrotherapy, which includes a sauna, ice room, steam room & jacuzzi.
Dining
All food and beverage is included at Le Blanc: top shelf drinks, 24-hour room service, an incredible buffet (we ate there for lunch most days), and 5 restaurants that range from Asian, Italian, Mexican, Steakhouse & Fine Dining. We ate at all of them except the fine dining and loved each and every meal. To be honest, we actually couldn’t believe how delicious the food was, and that’s coming from 2 gals who live in New York City and can be a bit picky about good food 😉
Service
All of the workers at Le Blanc were kind and accommodating. From the front desk to the servers and our floor’s butler – they were all extremely attentive and just seemed so happy all the time!
Entertainment
If you’re someone who enjoys resorts that have big shows and what not every night – you won’t find that at Le Blanc. They had a couple of options (a magic show, live music) but to be honest I was SO very glad they didn’t have other entertainment because I prefer a more relaxing resort experience.
Probably the only downside for me personally would be that there wasn’t a ton of liveliness during our stay. Most of the other guests were older or couples. Like I said, we were looking for a more relaxing experience anyway, but just a heads up if you’re more into mingling/socializing at a resort.
Final Thoughts
If you couldn’t tell, I’m definitely a fan of Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun. I don’t even think I covered the full amenities/perks of staying there! Unless you’re looking for more of a “party” centric resort, or something more inexpensive (even though I think Le Blanc is quite affordable for how much you get), I couldn’t recommend it more. We did not leave the resort even once during our near 5 days there – it had everything we needed.
I’d say Le Blanc Spa Resort is best suited for couples but could also be a fun option for a small group of friends, or even spa-focused bachelorette party.
Thanks again to Le Blanc for having us!
