For when you want Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies, this is the recipe for you. These cookies are not only delicious but they’re also low in sugar, grain-free and gluten-free. Easy to make Keto-friendly!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted *
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup low sugar chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. In a large bowl mix together the almond flour, baking powder and salt
  3. In a separate bowl whisk together butter, egg, maple syrup & vanilla
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips
  5. Chill dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator
  6. Form dough in 12-15 balls and press down into discs
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes and transfer to cooling rack

Notes

* You could also use melted coconut oil, however if you’re able to have butter, I’d recommend using that for the most “classic” cookie flavor.

Store these in an air-tight container for up to 5 days, or longer in the fridge/freezer. I personally prefer the texture of these when refrigerated, as almond flour can get soggy.
