This past weekend Sydney and I had the pleasure of calling The Montauk Beach House home for a few days, and it just solidified that it’s my favorite place to stay while vacationing in Montauk.
Location
The Montauk Beach House is located right in the middle of the town of Montauk – just a short walk to the beach, as well as dozens of shops and restaurants. Sydney and I were able to walk just about anywhere we wanted to go during the weekend, and if not it was an easy spot to get a taxi. We also took advantage of the complimentary bikes that MBH offered. How cute are these?!
Look & feel
The MBH is pretty much the epitome shabby chic. Upon walking in the lobby, you feel like you’re stepping into a real life Pinterest board. See what I mean?
The rooms are cozy and welcoming yet aesthetically appealing at the same time (AKA perfect for those “effortless” hotel room Instagram shots we all know and love).
The outdoor area of The Montauk Beach House is a destination of its own. There’s a large pool with lounge chairs, as well as a “yard” area with cabanas/day beds. There’s also a great bar and outdoor dining area.
Sydney and I actually decided to skip the beach on Saturday and took advantage of having all MBH perks at our fingertips – towels, food and drink, and great music.
Food & drink
As the Hungry Blonde, obviously the food was of high importance to me 😉 First of all, there’s a LEFT HAND cafe in the lobby of The MBH, which is some of my favorite coffee.
On Sunday we brunched outside and split avocado toast + the “Beach House Sunny” breakfast burger.
For poolside lunch bites we had the avocado tuna tartare and lobster roll. The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had – it comes served on a super soft pretzel bun (YES, pretzel bun).
We also munched on the watermelon salad – it was super refreshing and perfect as an afternoon “hold us over until dinner” meal.
Favorite cocktail of the weekend: The LA Woman – made with watermelon puree and fresh mint.
Etc.
The MBH is also home to Poolside Collective – a curated concept store by Ashleigh Hults featuring beautiful stuff from brands like Miansai, Blackbird, San Lorenzo Bikinis, Wayward Leaning, Kassia Surf, Allswell, New York Sunshine, and more.
One of the things I love most about The Montauk Beach House is that it’s not just a hotel. All summer long they have fun events going on; live music, pool parties, fitness gatherings & more (you can see the full list of happenings here).
If you’re planning on visiting The Hamptons, I couldn’t recommend The Montauk Beach House more!
Thanks for the incredible weekend, MBH. Hope to see you again soon 🙂
