Oh London. I loved you. A lot. You’re like the more mature, sophisticated older sister of New York City. Maybe it’s just the accent…

What I wasn’t expected about London was how big/spread out the city is. Each neighborhood seemed like an entirely different city! I wish I would’ve gotten to spend more time in each, but my favorites were definitely Shoreditch (where we stayed), Covent Garden and Soho.
Here’s a quick roundup of my favorite places we went & things we did in London.

Dishoom – modern Indian, so many of you recommended and it was 💯
Albion – great cafe for breakfast/lunch
Attendant – cafe that I worked from, I loved their playlist ha
Bonnie Gull – the BEST fish & chips
Ozone Coffee Roasters – one stop shop cafe/eatery/place to work from. Surprisingly notable food (would’ve never guessed if not for the Infatuation London recommendation)
Hawksmoor – I’m no steakhouse virgin, but this was one’ve the best I’ve had. Do not miss the bone marrow starter or toffee pudding dessert! Killer ribeye and sides too
Soho House – in London there’s basically one on every corner 😜 we went to a few and they were all lovely. My favorite was probably Shoreditch House. If you go for brunch get the Veggie Plate
The Connaught for afternoon tea
Sette – modern Italian, I’ve had just about this entire menu (at Scarpetta) and everything is great. Trendy/sexy vibes
Vida Bakery – vegan and gluten-free bakery! They have a pecan caramel cookie that’s one of the best I’ve ever had
Modern Society – clothing store with an adorable cafe in the front
Maison Assouline – the Piccadilly store felt like heaven. The dreamiest books
Shopping: there are the various markets (Spitafields, Dover Street Market, Covent Garden Market) and I LOVED Brick Lane in Shoreditch. Reminded me of LES meets Williamsburg – so many great vintage shops
Nobu Hotel – we stayed at the Shoreditch location and loved it! Great rooms, great location, and the staff was very helpful and friendly (especially Tariq and Ro!)
