Welcome to Hungry Blonde Round Ups! This where I round up some of my simplest, most popular, and most delicious recipes — all in one place (:
Cookie Dough But Make It Edible
Remember when you found out 1) that cookie dough isn’t edible and 2) that it’s not *exactly* good for you. Truly, those were some heartbreaking days. I mean, did it stop me from sneaking tastes from the batter bowl? No, no it did not. However, as I got older I realized that I might need to be a bit more mindful (not that I don’t still love some good old fashioned (in)edible cookie dough 🤪). With that in mind, I created these Edible Cookie Dough Recipes made with better-for-you ingredients.
Why You’ll Love These Edible Cookie Dough Recipes
Even though these recipes are made with healthier ingredients, they don’t lose that traditional cookie dough flavor. In this case, I made it my mission to get these remakes as close to the OG as possible. And, in my humble opinion, I think I did a pretty good job, but I’ll let you be the judge of that (; Not only are these recipes delicious, but they are also so simple to make and they keep so well! They’re great in the freezer, which means you can satisfy your cookie dough cravings whenever! I highly recommend making a few different batches and keeping them stored for when the mood strikes.
1: OG Edible Cookie Dough
We have to start this list with my OG Edible Cookie Recipe. Now, if you’re looking to satisfy a craving for the kind of cookie dough you’d eat as a kid, then this is the one for you. It tastes just like *real* cookie dough batter, but without those inedible eggs and untreated flour! Plus, it can be made gluten-free.
2: Brownie Batter Stuffed Protein Cookie Dough Balls
Why settle for eating just one batter, when you can eat two? You heard me: Brownie Batter Stuffed Protein Cookie Dough Balls. These little bites are packed with protein and clean ingredients, which means they will keep you fueled! I love having them before a workout or for a nice nightcap. Really, though, they’re good any time, all the time.
3: Nutella Brownie Batter Bites
Now, I know that this isn’t *technically* cookie dough, but you won’t care after you take a taste of these Nutella Brownie Batter Bites. This recipe is for all my chocolate lovers out there. They have the consistency of cookie dough with the taste of a brownie. And they’re gluten-free!
4: Cookie Dough Balls
Cookie Dough Balls are my favorite way to enjoy edible cookie dough because they keep so well! These are the best treats to keep in the freezer. I always turn to them when I have a sweet craving. Plus, you can use this recipe to play with flavor combinations. I recommend swapping out the cashew butter for peanut butter to get Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Balls (AKA bliss). Plus, they’re gluten-free and low in sugar!
5: Single-Serving Cookie Dough
This Single-Serving Cookie Dough recipe is for when you want the cookie dough, but you don’t want to go through the hassle of making an entire batch of *anything*. I see you, and I’m here for you. All you need is 4 ingredients and 5 minutes to make your dessert dreams come true. You’re welcome.
6: Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough Balls
So, you’re craving cookie dough in the fall? Reach for these Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough Balls. And if you aren’t in your fall feels, then you will be after you taste one of these. In this recipe, I use Organifi Gold Pumpkin Spice Superfood Powder because it gives the best pumpkin spice flavor without being overpowering.
7: Vegan Edible Cookie Dough
This recipe for Vegan Edible Cookie Dough couldn’t be any easier! Just 6 ingredients needed and 5 minutes to make. It’s perfect for dipping or enjoying by the spoonful. Adding in chopped nuts or speciality chocolates takes it to the next level. Plus, it’s gluten-free and grain-free.
8: Cookie Dough Freezer Fudge
Cookie dough, but make it fudge. This recipe is beyond simple with just 3 ingredients and no baking required. Plus, Cookie Dough Freezer Fudge is vegan/plant-based and Paleo friendly (grain-free, dairy-free). It’s the perfect treat to store in the freezer and have on hand at all times, so you might want to consider doubling the recipe, too.
