I hope you find this CURED Nutrition CBD Review to be helpful! Please note that this blog post does contain affiliate links. All opinions herein are my own.
I’ll be honest. When CBD first came onto the scene, I was a skeptic. I thought it was just another fad supplement. But after I began to do my own research, and admittedly fall for the hype 😉 I started to try a handful of CBD brands and products for myself.
I had tried at least 5 different CBD brands before I found CURED Nutrition, and – to make a long story short – it’s now the only CBD I will use. More on that below!
Since I’m regularly getting messages on Instagram with questions about CBD (and the other CURED supplements), I figured it made sense to answer them all on one blog post. So let’s get to it with my CURED Nutrition CBD Review.

For starters – what is CBD?
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the Cannabid sativa plant, whish is also known as marijuana or help, according to the US National Library of Medicine. It’s a naturally occurring substance that’s used in products like oils and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm. Unlike its cousin, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the major active ingredient in marijuana, CBD is not psychoactive. (source)
How does CBD work?
CBD works by acting on the endocannabinoid system, a biological system that helps regulate physiology, mood, the immune system and the everyday experience. In an optimal state, the body naturally produces signals to self-regulate, but signs of discomfort, like stress and inflammation, can disrupt it’s ability to do so. Enter CBD. It’s a safe, natural way to calm the body and bring it back to homeostasis. (source)
What are the benefits of CBD?
CBD is commonly used to address anxiety, and for patients who suffer through the misery of insomnia, studies suggest that CBD may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep.
CBD may offer an option for treating different types of chronic pain. A study from the European Journal of Pain showed, using an animal model, CBD applied on the skin could help lower pain and inflammation due to arthritis. Another study demonstrated the mechanism by which CBD inhibits inflammatory and neuropathic pain, two of the most difficult types of chronic pain to treat. More study in humans is needed in this area to substantiate the claims of CBD proponents about pain control. (source)
Do you actually “feel” anything?
CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it will not get you ‘high’. When I first started using CBD I didn’t really think I felt anything, but as time went on I did begin to notice the calming and relaxing effects of it. In my experience the regular use of CBD has had a “compounding effect” in reducing anxiety in my life overall.
Does CBD help with sleep?
For me it has – in fact this has probably been the greatest benefit for me. Taking CBD regularly has improved my sleep, both getting to sleep and staying asleep. My nighttime CBD routine is that I usually take a dropper of hemp oil about 2-3 hours before bedtime, and then CURED Zen about an hour before. Zen is CBD blended with other sleep support like magnesium, Reishi, Ashwagandha, and chamomile.
Could CBD make me fail a drug test at work?
It is possible to test positive on a drug test from using full spectrum hemp products, despite the trace amounts of THC. If you’re concerned, be sure to opt for a THC-free option like the CURED Pure Daily Hemp Oil.
Does CBD make you sleepy during the day? I need to be “on.”
This depends on the person, but if it’s a concern of yours I’d definitely recommend trying CURED Rise. It’s a blend of CBD and functional mushrooms that actually give you mental clarity and focus.
What brand do you recommend, especially for anxiety?
If you haven’t noticed, I couldn’t speak more highly of CURED Nutrition. Here’s why:
- It’s a brand I trust! High quality CBD products that are third-party tested. I also personally know the founder and team, and I can attest that the mission of the brand is truly to improve the wellbeing of their customers
- CURED goes beyond just CBD oils and incorporates other highly beneficial ingredients like functional mushrooms and adaptogens ~ taking a holistic approach to their products that I believe is the future of CBD and supplementation
- CURED has a subscription option that makes it easy to get your CBD delivered right to your door, on repeat
