Ingredients and Substitutions for Chocolate Raspberry Trifle
The ingredients in this recipe are oh-so-simple, just how we like here it at Hungry Blonde. The only preparation in this recipe is the pudding and the heavy cream.
Now, if you’re feeling like you want to up the ante on this recipe, then you can bake your own brownies! In this case, I used store-bought brownies and crumbled them. You could also used boxed brownies, which are, in my humble opinion, absolutely delicious. To make this recipe gluten-free, opt for gluten-free brownies. Chocolate cake can also work here, in place of the brownies. Likewise, you could make your own, go for the boxed, or buy one!
I chose to use raspberries here, however, you can use whatever berry you want! Of course, strawberries would be great, too. But you could also do mixed berries! In addition, sliced bananas would go perfect with these flavors.
To make this even easier, you can skip the homemade whipped cream and use your favorite store bought whipped topping, like Cool Whip.

one 5.9 oz packet instant chocolate mousse
Is it pudding or Mousse? LIsted in ingresients as Mouse and instructions as pudding. I have visted 3 stores and Amazon trying to find a 5.9 oz packet of Mousse with no luck. Jello pudding DOES come in 5.9 oz packages however so I need some clarification please.
