Anyone else a total TEXTURE person? *Raises hand*
There’s just something about a nice, hearty crunch paired with soft & chewy textures that make for the most satisfying meals & snacks. Wasa crispbread crackers have always been a go-to of mine when I want that crunchy fix still made with wholesome ingredients, so I was very excited when I found out they came out with new gluten free crackers!
The Wasa Gluten Free crispbread crackers contain no lactose ingredients, are just 50-60 calories per slice, and are Non-GMO Project verified. They come in Original flavor and Sesame & Sea Salt.
I’ve been loving making quick meals & snacks with the Wasa Gluten Free crispbread crackers. Since Wasa has taken care of the hearty & satisfying crunch part, I just added some of my favorite topping pairings, and the result was nothing short of delicious.
And the best part? It’s super easy to layer different combinations atop the crispbread cracker, which saves me time when I need to prepare quick breakfasts and lunches when I’m running around and traveling this summer. For me, the summer months are all about soaking in experiences, my social life, and – of course – some sun, so it’s important to have go-to snacks and meals that take the guesswork out, and these Wasa “toast” combinations are exactly that.
From sweet to savory, the topping possibilities are endless, but here are my favorites right now.
For the early-birds:
- cream cheese + smoked salmon
- scrambled eggs + turkey bacon
- peanut butter + fresh strawberries
For midday meals:
- avocado + roasted turkey
- goat cheese + prosciutto
- hummus + cucumber
I love making 1-2 of these combos when I want a snack, or 3-4 for a hearty meal that’s the perfect combo of carbs + protein + healthy fat to keep me full for hours. Sometimes, I also just throw some Wasa crackers in my bag for a quick snack when I’m off to the next destination.
If you try any of these Wasa cracker combinations, I’d love to see how they turned out! Be sure to tag me on Instagram @Hungry.Blonde 🙂

It seems to me I’ve just found something ideal in this world. I’ve already tried crispbread with cream cheese+salmon and hummus+cucumber. They go really nice together! And hummus is also tasty in combination with tomatoes.
Thank for these wonderful ideas, Gracie! I’m gonna try all of them 🙂
