I know it’s been less than 2 weeks since my last What I’m Loving RN post, but what can I say? I LOVE THE THINGS. Here are some more goodies I’m digging at the moment from food to fashion, and everything in between.
This simple Pesto Pasta bowl may warrant its own separate post, buuut I’ll throw it in here because it’s not exactly a “recipe” – more just a quick & easy healthy meal that I’ve been loving lately. It’s also gluten-free and high in protein and fiber.
I made it by adding 1/3 cup Gotham Green Vegan Pesto to 1 box of cooked Banza chickpea pasta (I swoon over how much I love Banza here and here). Then I mixed in about 1/4 cup sliced sun dried tomatoes, and topped with some parmesan cheese. It took me under 15 minutes to make and lasted for 3 meals. Le score.
I’ve mentioned using this Barlean’s MCT Swirl on Instagram a few times, but here are the dirty deets on it. Unless you’ve been living under a rock you probably know that the fats found in coconut are like, super good for you. More specifically, they are Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCT), which are great for brain health, and they can also raise your metabolic function, help with digestion and hormone levels, and help you feel fuller (source).
I love this blend because it’s in a convenient squeeze bottle, and it’s smooth with a little bit of extra sweetness, so it goes perfectly in my smoothies. I even add it to my coffee sometimes!
If you follow me on Pinterest you know that I’m a slave to the trends, and the ones I’m seeing for this spring/summer are no exception. I’m specifically obsessed with matching SETS right now. Not only are they cute AF, but I find that they’re also quite flattering on my petite frame.
I also never thought I’d see the day of the return of the denim mini skirt, but I am so into it (well, my inner 17-year-old is, I suppose). I already found myself an adorable Levi’s one from Urban Outfitters.
Let me tell you – the queen of lips knows what she’s doing. I got Kylie Cosmetics Candy K Matte Lipstick for Christmas and have been wearing it religiously ever since. It applies like a lipgloss and goes on smooth & soft, and then it dries into a perfect nude matte finish. I apply it a little bit above my lip line too, and it gives a really natural fuller lip look. Sometimes I’ll also go over it with a clear gloss for nighttime to add more of a shine.
Usually my obsession with skincare is all about the face, but we can’t forget the other most important surface of our bods – THE BOOTY. I got sent this Brazilian Bum Bum Cream a few months ago and it. Is. Everything. I’ve definitely noticed some tightening and smoothing in my bum and the back of my thighs since I started using it. It also smells AMAZING. Get it now to start preparing for bikini season 😉
Am I allowed to give myself a shameless plug right now? Of course I am, this is my blog.
All of my friends know I take a weird amount of pride in my Spotify Playlists, but it’s for good reason. They’re freaking amazing. I’m still into my Winter/Spring 2017 playlist, but will have to get working on next season’s soon…
Anyone who lives in New York knows how dependent we are on all forms of food delivery services. I personally love the convenience of getting my groceries delivered. Sometimes I place large orders way in advance, but other times I need just a handful of things but want/need them ASAP. I used to use another “instant” grocery delivery service, but to be honest it was a total pain. Not only were the deliveries *not* instant (more like a few days out), but things were always being replaced and customer service was lacking.
And then I discovered FoodKick. FoodKick is the sister company of FreshDirect (which I have used for a few years now), and they’ve taken the instant grocery delivery and perfected it. Orders can be delivered in as little as an hour, and it’s just an overall EFFICIENT service with great customer service. I’ve placed an order just about every week lately.
They also just launched new Meal Kits that are also super convenient and delicious (you probably saw me post about it last week on Instagram).
