This little concoction here is a game changer.
I’ve always been one to need at least some sort of dessert/sweet treat like, every day. While I’m all about indulging every once in a while, when you need a daily treat, it’s nice to have a go-to that isn’t so over the top. This dessert is just that – all the creamy decadence of a Wendy’s frosty + under 150 calories.
I’ll be honest – I used to hate Arctic Zero after the first time I tried it. BUT they recently rebranded themselves and came out with some great new flavors that I love. My favorites are Toasted Coconut, Salted Caramel, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
I’m also pretty picky when it comes to PB2 because I’m kind of sort of obsessed with peanut butter, and nothing can replace the real thing. But the thing with PB2 is it’s great for adding peanut butter *flavor* to things, not exactly acting as a peanut butter replacement (for example, DO mix it into your oatmeal, but DON’T use it for a PB&J sandwich, in my opinion).
And as you can probably guess – you DO want to mix these two together for a great frozen dessert treat.
Here’s how to make it:
1) Put 1/2 pint of Toasted Coconut Arctic Zero in a bowl. Microwave for 20 seconds, or let it sit out to soften.
2) Add 2 tablespoons PB2, and mix together completely. I like to use a fork to really combine it well.
That’s it! The PB2 adds a great FLUFF – very reminiscent of the Wendy’s Frosty we all know and love. The peanut butter flavor definitely stands out the most, but there is still a (delicious) hint of the coconut too.
