Immediately after having brunch at Quality Eats, I knew I had to make plans to go back for dinner. So a few weeks later, some girl friends and I wrapped up my birthday weekend with a Sunday night dinner at my new West Village favorite.
We started with some of their specialty cocktails, which were some of the most creative I’ve tried lately. They also were quite affordable, clocking in at just $12 each.
Then we split a ton of amazing dishes:
Grilled Nueske’s Bacon – Peanut Butter, Jalapeno Jelly (also on their brunch menu and one of my favorite dishes pretty much ever)
Grilled Octopus – Rice Beans, Beluga Lentils
Brown-Bag Curly Fries
Creamed Spinach Hush Puppies
Baked Potato Monkey Bread
The Don Ameche steak
And for dessert we split some of their famous Scoops sundaes. We got Birthday Cake (fitting for the occasion ;)) and S’mores.
The verdict – yep, QE is still killing it. I’d have to say I enjoyed dinner there even more than brunch. Definitely worth adding to your must-visit list!
