Raise your hand if your favorite thing about the Big Game is the snacks!
*Raises both hands. And a foot*
If you ask me, the perfect Game Day spread is all about the dipping. Who has time for utensils when you’re trying to pay attention to the game AND commercials AND boys being all cute bonding over football?
As if I needed another excuse to make my famous (and soon to be your famous) Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip, everyone at your Game Day party will go seriously crazy over this stuff. Don’t miss the recipe below.
But first let me tell you what else I’ll for sure be bringing to this year’s Big Game party: ALL THE CHIPS. But not just any chips – Popchips® bangin’ new flavors: Zesty Jalapeno Cheddar and Buffalo Ranch Ridges.
While these are obviously the perfect vessels for some serious dippage, these Popchips® are so flavorful you won’t be able to stop eating them on their own (but that’s totally fine because they’re never fried and contain only real ingredients).
The Zesty Jalapeno Popchips® are cheesy and spicy (for those of you who like it hot) and the Buffalo Ranch Ridges basically scream Game Day flavors.
What I love about Popchips® is that they’re the perfect crunchy snack, and they also happen to be gluten free, kosher, non-GMO (certain flavors), and they meet the USDA Smart Snack guidelines. They also contain no trans fats, cholesterol, or preservatives and nothing artificial.
Now onto that Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe I promised. I’ve posted this before, but it seriously can’t be shared enough!
Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip
- 2 cups of shredded chicken (I follow this guide to poach/shred chicken)
- 8 ounces of regular cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 6 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese *
* you could use bleu cheese instead if you prefer it, or even 1/2 cheddar 1/2 bleu.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix together the cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce, and cheese. Then add the chicken and combine well. Transfer to a (8 inch) baking dish, and bake for 20 minutes.
As always, if you make this or any of my other recipes, I’d love to see how they turn out! Be sure to tag me on Instagram @Hungry.blonde 🙂 xoxo GG
