I’ve got to be honest – when I first saw avocado used in dessert recipes, I cringed just a bit. Green things in dessert just seem…unnatural. But for the sake of experimenting with a new recipe that could be healthy and decadent, I decided to give it a shot.
I pulled from a handful of recipes I saw on Pinterest and came up with this combo, which I must say turned out pretty great.
- 1 whole very ripe avocado
- 2 small (or 1 large) bananas
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- a dash of almond milk to get things moving
directions: blend/process until smooth, creamy consistency.
…That’s it! I made this in a Magic Bullet and it worked just fine, but a food processor or VitaMix would work too.
